The YWCA will collect used cellular phones from various sources throughout the community and turn these over to the 911 Cell Phone Bank for processing. In exchange, the 911 Cell Phone Bank will make available, at no cost, through the YWCA, emergency cell phones to qualifying residents in the San Diego area.
Residents and businesses with cell phones to donate may contact Caity Meader by phone at 619-239-0355 begin or e-mail at
caity@ywcasandiego.org. Cell phones may be brought to the YWCA Administration Building at 1012 C Street, San Diego, 92101.

2011 YWCA HOLIDAY DRIVE
The holiday season is almost upon us and the YWCA of San Diego County has begun its holiday drive to collect toys, gifts, gift cards, and more for the clients in the YWCA’s shelter programs. In addition to collecting gifts, the YWCA needs your help with cash donations and gift cards for food and supplies for our holiday meals. We are also in need of holiday decorations, wrapping paper, bows and scotch tape.
